A few shots from the Mount Washington Road Race last Saturday. I "ran" (using the word loosely) 1:46 and change, 5+ minutes faster than two years ago! =)

After the race, I joined friends for the walk back down, via Lion Head.

Shots are from my iPhone and a Canon point-n-shoot.

With Carl on the summit, after having finished the race and suited up for the hike down. Cool and breezy on top.

Sadly, I missed the Hart's Turkey Farm post-race feast, but it was too beautiful of a day to catch a ride back down. Great day to be out!

Thanks to Bill, Carmen, Carl, Jerry, Ruby and Susan for their company on the way back down.

Thanks to Andy P from New York and to Trevor his driver, for taking my pack to the summit, and for providing me a "Plan B" in case I wasn't up to the hike.

Congrats to Carl on his first hike of Mt Washington! Via Lion Head. Sorry we didn't descend via Boott Spur as you wanted.

Congrats to Susan on her first hike of Huntington Ravine!

I think I see myself in that last picture as I was across the street on the Wildcat Ridge somewhere going from Rt 16 to Carter Notch.

Passed all the festivities and traffic for the road race at the Auto Road in the morning on my way to Pinkham Notch from Gorham.
