Hmm so far have Lassen,Shasta, Aggaziz and White Mountain Peak on my list. Might not be able to work in another.

Do they give out walk-in permits for overnights? I could not climb the Mountaineers route in 1 day I would need 2.

Do they give out walk-in permits for overnights? I could not climb the Mountaineers route in 1 day I would need 2.

I believe they do... I know someone along the way recommended doing the moutaineer's route as a two-day when I didn't get the permit I wanted. I think people stay at Upper Boy Scout Lake?? A call to the ranger's office could confirm that though.
