Okay, I'm looking for a good profile picture of the Old Man of the Mountains. Preferably something that could be replicated part of a tattoo design. I've got a basica idea in my head for a tattoo to commemorate my 48 Peaks and part of it involves using the profile of the Old Man. I've been scouring Google Images, but was wondering if anyone knew of a good hand drawn image I could print off and give to a tattoo artist to replicate?

Please don't start preaching about your opinions on Tattoo's. It's my body and I will do what I want :D

Thanks,
-Pete

I don't have anything, but does it have to be a hand drawn image?
Just doing a quick Google image search on "old man mountain" I found tons to work off of:

Another option would be to get a picture that sort of works and manipulate it with a photo editing tool (like Photoshop) to get the look you're going for.

Does your mother lurk on the forums? :D

The icon on the older New Hampshire license plates (2nd and third here) would probably be a good one to use. Google around and see if you can find a larger image, or even take a pic of one on the road.

Free tat advice

Cool idea.

But... once you finish the 48 it is likely you'll head for the NE Fours and then the 100 Highest (happens to lots of us).

I suggest you leave room for that tat to grow, or come up with an expandable design theme!

(I am thinking of an ice axe and rope coil design myself.)
