The new "Official 2013-2014 New Hampshire Highway Map" with picture of Governor Hassan (available free at rest areas) has a list of 10 hiking trails on the back with Monadnock probably being the toughest.

If that's too easy for you, the front side has 145+/- summits marked with red triangles - those with solid red are firetowers. Some of these require substantial bushwhacking and many are on private land. I think I have only one left on the main map but am missing several on the city inserts.

How the hell they chose those particuliar peaks
