A group of 5 helped by other groups heading to C/B went to Nippletop for the ADK Gathering. We started around 6:45 at St. Hubert's. We used the Elk Pass approach. We made it to the summit around Noon. It was windy most of the day, and snowed most of the time, with drifts appearing right after we broke them out, apparently! 
We had to break trail ourselves the last 2 or so miles.
When we got back to the junction to go to Dial, no one really wanted to break trail for 2 more miles and then either break trail all the way down to the road, or turn around and walk almost 9 miles back to the car. So it was just Nippletop. On the walk out, we were joined by more and more people, and we passed the long road walk chatting to friends new and old. Done by about 3:30, almost no snow on the car!
All in all a great day, and an awesome party afterwards!
