If anyone wants a break from all the cold weather lately, go to the site gallery (button below) and check out some of my pix from my recent trip to Hawai'i.
There are some cool shots from a hike up the Ko'olau Ridge. It's the ridge that divides the Southeast corner of the island. From the top of the ridge, you can look South to Diamond Head / Hawai'i Kai and North to Waimanalo, the old Bellows Air Force station, and on up to Kailua Bay and Kaneohe. The views were amazing to say the least. The weather wan't bad either: 85 F, sunny, and some nice trades blowing.
After many trips out there, I finally saw a full on winter north shore swell and got to witness 25' waves and some insane people riding them. Unreal!
