We had several searches for mushroom pickers in WA, but none like this one: Ore. mushroom pickers found alive after 6 days.

It's a marvelous way to get lost -- watch the ground constantly instead of your surroundings and a map.

Did you mean to say"they tuned out ok?"

early in the story: "They just got turned around," Bishop said. "They sought some shelter in a hollowed-out tree and basically they stayed in the same place. But it was heavy vegetation where they were."

later in the story: The search had focused on a 4-square-mile area. Bishop said the family was in the search area but likely kept moving, making the search for them more difficult.

Bishop seems to say two different things? Or maybe its just the reporting. or maybe a lil of both! but it caught my eye.

I totally get it, as a fungus and wildflower hunter. The hollow tree sounds quite appropriate as a shelter.
