Well, it's been a while since the last one...
How about,

October 4-7
On the broads of Lake Winnipesaukee, Gilford,NH.

Unfortunatly, The waterfront property taxes have tripled in our area, so this could be the last horah!

The boat traffic has subsided, and the foliage should be near peak.
Great time for a little paddle.( 40 islands would be nice )

This would be a paddle/hiking weekend.
I will have 2 extra kayaks/paddles available,but, no pfd's.
All are welcome! Many level camping spots.

If you chose to hike;

Gunstock,Belknap, Major. 10-15 min.
Ossipee's, Shaw, Black snout 45 min.
Whiteface/ Wonalancet 1 hr.
Franconia Notch 1 hr. 10 min.
Lincoln Woods 1 hr.
Pinkam Notch 1 hr. 40 min.

I have other interests in this trip, so if you plan on Yaking, or just hiking, let me know,so I can boost the accomodations as neccesary.

Thanks, Steve-o

I'd be interested. Pretty sure I can free up the time. I"ve never tried kayaking on the lake so that would be a first and a nice chance to meet some folks.
I have a touring boat and could bring a ww boat if anybody wants to give it a try just for the heck of it.

This sounds like a real good time. Count me in. Most likely arrive on Friday evening. I'll be floating in the Kayak, not likely to do any hiking.
Excellent!
I probably won't do much hiking either.
I guess it depends on how rough the lake is.
I know a nice little hike in my backyard. Locke's Hill.
I've been meaning to check it out for the last 30 yrs. or so.
2-3 mi. loop, w/ views of the lake.
I'll post more details next week, when I get back from BSP. :)

Stev-o: might be a fly in the ointment. I had made tentative plans for that weekend that I totally forgot about (made in June). I may be up at the Hunting Camp with my brother and fishing buds doing our last fish weekend for the season. I'll keep you appraised, and will try to reschedule the fishing trip.

BTW, you might want to post this on trips and events also. Not that many people see it on Paddle Park.

I may be interested, depending on the state of my leg.

I might be able to do short walks, anything much longer is probably out of the question.

I'd probably need to take Steve up on his offer of a boat...
