Location
White Mountains
Date of Hike: Saturday, July 6th

Trails: Lincoln Woods, Osseo, Franconia Ridge, Garfield Ridge, Twinway, West Bond Spur, Bondcliff

Trail Conditions: Lincoln Woods Trail is in very good shape, not too muddy past the wilderness boundary either, just one blowdown at the camp 16 clearing which could be removed with a decent hand saw. Osseo Trail is excellently maintained and is in great shape. Franconia Ridge is in great shape. Garfield Ridge is muddy and rooty below the trees but is holding up better than in past years with the amount of rain that has hit the mountains. Water source at the Garfield Ridge campsite junction is flowing well. The steep water fall section below this isn't that bad, not much water flowing. Rest of the Garfield ridge is the usual up and down with some mud and tricky footing in spots. Twinway is in great shape. West Bond Spur Path and Bondcliff Trail are in great shape. Water crossings were rock-hop-able.

Comments: The bugs are out and about, some spots they're everywhere other spots they're not. If you stick around in one spot long enough they will find you! Great day for a Pemi Loop, started off in the clouds, had a little rain, and it was very hot and humid but was rewarded with great views for Guyot and the Bonds! Report / Pics
