Below is a link to the video which recently aired on WMUR (a local TV station in NH). It's about the photographer Robert Kozlow who also happens to be a dentist. Chances are good that many of you have seen his wonderful White Mountain photography in various books, etc.

The video lasts nearly 7 minutes, and before it begins, you will need to endure a short commercial.

Thanks for the link - he's incredible. I first saw his images in the guidebook Waterfalls of the White Mountains and was amazed by those. His 2007 coffee-table book The White Mountains: A Photogenic Journey is excellent too.

Yes!

I saw the clip when it aired. I have a couple of his books. Ran into him at the covered bridge by the Flume a few years ago while he was taking that picture. Great photographer.

He took Susan’s and my picture as we were climbing North Tripyramid Slide on Independence Day, 2004. I saw this fellow (second from left, above) photographing us as we ascended, and leaped to the conclusion that he was Robert Kozlow, and he confirmed it. I keep hoping to see one of those pictures turn up somewhere, but not yet.

I was wearing a perfect, bright red shirt, too.

I was surprised that he asked me about the North Tripyramid summit. He’d never been up there, despite being so close.

A year later, we encountered him again, heading up to Lonesome Lake, his tripod over his shoulder, as we were going down, having climbed Cannon Mountain.

Thanks for the link, “1.”

Bob's got a great DVD with photos and music as well, and his second book is somewhere out there in the void between finished and published. Hopefully it will see the light of day sometime! :)

Bob and I crossed paths quite a bit when I was up at the Obs. He is a really nice guy with a great artistic style and a true dedication to the white mountains. Great to see he got this feature...it's well deserved.

His book sits on my coffee table and is a constant source of inspiration! I don't have his dvd's but some of the score and music begins his website. Very nice stuff!

And Bob Kozlow has a website as well! Many folks might already know about it, but nonetheless, below is the link to that site. It contains some awesome photos!
