Seeing how this is the season for fireworks...
(I post here rather than in the photography forum because people who are not in the forum might be interested.)
Some pointers on how to photograph fireworks:

Don't forget to pay attention to your foregrounds and backgrounds. And try to find a spot where the wind is at your back or side so the smoke doesn't obscure the fireworks.
