Lots of pictures and one video can be found there.

Crawford Path, Eisenhower Loop. 9.6 miles, 3250 feet elevation gain.

Alex and I enjoyed a wonderful day on Mt. Pierce and Mt. Eisenhower. MadRiver, DaveBear and Thor accompanied us. We also saw LRiz and Toby, and we had the pleasure of running into BarkingCat.

I'll let the pictures do the talking for this one, though I'll start out of sequence with a beautiful picture BarkingCat took of Alex on the summit of Eisenhower.

Now, back to the beginning...

<blog contains all the other pictures, though the above is by far the best -- thanks, BarkingCat!>

Alex made this video for Sage while we were climbing the summit cone of Eisenhower:

We're halfway through the winter list!
Many thanks to our fellow hikers for their cheer and good company.

Great pics. I think that's one of the greatest loops in the Whites for dramatic pictures.

But speaking of pictures, two of them show Dave Bear in a short sleeve shirt. Doesn't that guy ever get cold? :D Does he have Tivas on his feet too?;)

Nice pics Trish. Really like the one of Alex on Ike looking off in the distance. MadRiver is wearing a pretty interesting hat.....I think it clashes with his kilt;)

Trish,

Nice meeting you and Alex on the trail. Great day out. Nice to see Dave Bear, Rick (MadRiver), Larissa, and Bryan also.

Hi Trish....nice to see the TR, especially Alex's video for Sage...adorable ;)

Thanks, Forestgnome. Alex loves Sage and sometimes misses her when we hike.

DaveBear acclimates to the cold quickly. I envied his ability to wear short sleeves, which he did almost all the way up Pierce. :) He's a true mountain man!

Nice pics Trish. Really like the one of Alex on Ike looking off in the distance.

Clay is quite the photographer. Hope to run into him on all our hikes so I can get more pictures of that caliber!

Wolfgang -- it very nice seeing you too! It was a great day to be up there, wasn't it?

Sorry about the delay in posting anything! This was a great day out and Thor did pretty good except for the bridge and steeps coming off Ike! We had a great time seeing everyone out despite the storm warnings! Here are some of my pictures from the day!
