Porter from the East

How is the hike up Porter Mountain from Marcy Airfield in the East, over Blueberry Mountain? Is this a high use route that I would have to worry about getting a parking space at the trail head unless I arrived very early?

I did Cascade about 8 years ago but not Porter and I'm planning on trying to do Porter before the end of the summer, and figured I'd do it from the east for something a bit different than the Cascade Hike from Cascade Lake.

Due to the greater distance and ascent, good chance you might have the trail to yourself many days. Parking should be no problem.

Pretty good little climb early in the hike. Nice views along the way and blueberries if you go soon! Didn't look like it gets a lot of use and I think there is quite a bit of parking there.
