One way to get a decent workout without snow is to combine two low elevation hikes. Yesterday the Wednesday Group (which chooses days with good weather, which may well not be Wednesdays) decided to hike Mount Potash and Hedgehog Mountain, two easy peaks that share the same trailhead, and that together give 8.6 miles of hiking with 2,850 feet of elevation gain.

Gorgeous weather, wonderful views, full story and photos on my blog: Mounts Potash and Hedgehog. Some highlights

Nice! Haven't yet had the pleasure of visiting those mountains. Your pictures give a great idea of what to expect. Looks like you had a nice day for it!

I did Potash once and thought it was a great little hike. Fantastic views for minimal effort. I remember falling into the Downes Brook when trying to cross. I didn't mind though since it was a hot day in early September.

I have never done Hedgehog but would like to sometime.

Good trip report Mohamed.

Nice Trip Report and beautiful photos! I have done these peaks only in winter and think it might be time to try them in the spring!
