New puppy that I thought was a Brittany Spaniel mutt is actually a herder mix called Corgi Cattle Dog. Anywho...she eats bugs, which can be helpful on occasion . She's learning about bees (came back from a walk with a swollen cheek ). She can pick ticks off her legs and she swallows them. These that we've seen I'm sure are dog ticks. I wonder if lyme can be contracted if it was an infected deer tick. I'm confident digestion is faster than 24 hour tick/lyme transmission time.
