Pur Pioneer filter

I have a Pur Pioneer water filter and they do not sell the disk filters anymore. If you email Katadyn at "[email protected]" they will let you trade your Pioneer filter for a "hiker" filter for $30 plus $10 for shipping. Thats $40 for a $60 water filter. The replacement filter for this model is $34. I am sure that I will not get a filter in this deal, so the total for both will be $74. Save's me from throwing away a perfectly good water filter. I don't know if they will recycle the old one's or give them to someone in need, either way I hate throwing away anything.

Keep your fingers crossed that it comes with a filter Adk_dib... when I bought my Pur Hiker in the store it did come with a filter. Hopefully that will be the case with the one they're sending you too!
