As avid hikers, I thought you might like to know about the big
project here in the Northern Presidentials. For years, the Randolph
Mountain Club ( RMC ) has juggled housing for its trail crews and caretakers.
Through a lot of hard work by many, many people over a number of
years, the club is closing in on a permanent solution.
The details are here:

I am sure that most of you know of the over 100 miles of trails we maintain in the Whites and the cabins and shelters on the side of Mt Adams. But, for those of you who dont' know about RMC, we're still very much a small,
volunteer-driven club that relies very heavily on the generosity of
its members and friends to lend a hand when the time comes. Well,
this is one of those times-- in fact, it's by far the biggest project
the club has ever undertaken, and also one of the most important.
If you use the RMC trails and shelters, I hope you'll consider
lending a hand. Now is the time! We are turning over every stone we
can find, to meet this goal.
Thanks. Please don't hesitate to post a note if you have questions.
Happy hiking,
