Here are a few random shots from a recent trip to the Great North Woods.

Coming back along 13 Mile Woods, the water was frequently over the road. We have never seen the water so high on the Androscoggin River along Rt. 16.

Very nice picture of the spring variant of the Mustard White, Pieris oleracea.

(The summer variant does not have the dark-edged veins on the outer hind wings.)

Nicely done!
 
I remember doing Table Rock with my dad and my brother when I was a kid (I grew up up there)... and I remember thinking it was really scary... looking at it from the perspective in your shot, I can understand why! I'll have to get up there as an adult and see what fun it is! You do get a nice view of the Balsams when you're up there iirc.
