Here are a few random shots from a recent trip to the Great North Woods.
A spring variant of a Mustard White Butterfly resting on a Toothwort. (Thanks Clay!)
A couple of Water Striders riding tandem.
The Black Flies were fierce on our whack up West Magalloway.
Garter Snake sticking his tongue out at us.
Table Rock in Dixville Notch
The view from the top of Table Rock.
Resinous Coniferous Polypore
One of the many cascades on the Huntington Cascade trail.
Another cascade.
Coming back along 13 Mile Woods, the water was frequently over the road. We have never seen the water so high on the Androscoggin River along Rt. 16.
