Rare RI question

I have been hiking/mountain biking in Arcadia Management Area recently...great riding. Anyone familiar with the area know about the abandoned camp structures that exist near Penny Hill? Lots of buildlings are still there and while most are falling down, a couple still live. There is also a set of remains of what looks like a rather large building with a huge hearth...any info?

That camp was replaced by the Eckerd Foundation camp just to the east (Ehuntee sp?). The large building with the hearth was intact until just a few years ago and was burned either by vandals or public officials (around here they're pretty much the same thing).

OT, but have you been to Big River? The riding there is very cool and not very "New Englandy". Smooth trails, bermed turns, rolling hills, super super fast. I generally like more technical riding, but that place is cool to hit up a few times a year.
