Cool! If my son wasn't off in Russia, I'd take him up there!

It's pretty amazing how much effort they spend on these birds. All of them are banded, monitored, and protected with great vigilance.

Reminds me of the New York State eagle program. They went out to Alaska, caught a few eagles, and then lear-jetted them back to New York!

Very cool...
My wife and me saw an entire flock of them at the Las Vegas National wildlife Refuge (new Mexico...not Nevada)...truly amazing. We had not planned it, but we were there when they arrived for their annual visit. amazing birds.
