Wow. aint computers great? I can't believe th eBS that gets around on this thing, and spoken like people are positive about what they are saying too! that's the funny part.
New York State Biologists and DEC personel responded to this picture last year when it showed up on the internet claiming to be a NY record coyote:
"The photograph has been very widely circulated on the internet, and there is a great deal of confusion about this animal.
Here are the facts:
This is not an Eastern coyote. It is a hybrid animal (supspected
wolf-dog) that weighed 105 pounds. It was a neutered male. This means the animal was a captive animal, and released either intentionally or accidentally by the owner.
We do not know who the owner was. This animal was taken in Pennsylvania, not New York.
