Resolution Shelter Question?

Some folks appeared to have stayed the previous night and had a fire at the pit that is right next to the shelter. Never saw one so close.

Yeah, its pretty cool isn't it. Right in front with the back wall of rock face as a reflector as I remember.

You remember correctly, Keith. You could toast marshmallows while sitting on the end of the shelter platform. My guess is that the rock would reflect some heat into the shelter itself.

I am still surprised that the shelter never caught fire, especially using softwood, which is more apt to throw sparks.
