Rt 113 Evans Notch

Does anyone know if Rt 113 thru Evans Notch is open to traffic? I cant find an update anyplace and I'm hoping to go there this weekend.

The USFS Road Status page shows it as open with a one-lane bridge in place. They also show Wild River Road closed to 11/5/07 for repairs. The Maine DOT does not list anything adverse currently for Rte. 113.

Two weeks ago there was no problem driving the full route including the narrower bridge (so-called 'one lane').

Stop at the height-of-land, where you see a kioske. Preigrine Falcons are nesting on the cliff walls. Great view with binoculars,etc. I saw and heard one screeching a couple weeks ago.
