Trail Conditions: GRT was well broken out, solid ice bridges for all crossings, Twinway had 3-4" new snow on it drifting to 12" near the top, Frost Trail packed out. All trails now well packed and consolidated.

Special Equipment Required: Snowshoes & Crampons for the trip up Twinway unless snowshoes have aggressive cleats. Regular winter gear and lots to snack on for this long hike.

Comments: 6:15AM start, 5:15 finish. Great day with undercast skies and a little windy on South Twin but temps were relatively mild. The GRT is much nicer when there are ice bridges and the Twinway is an easier climb in the winter! Hiked with Roger from Natick, Maddog Murray, Great Pumpkin (#44W and #45W) and 47W for me :) We were all pretty bushed at the end of the day but it was a great day.
