It has been many years since I hiked Saddleback Mtn and the Horn. Is there still a trail available to hikers that goes up the Saddleback ski slopes?

Thanks!

You can use the ski trails. If you have the time and endurence I strongly recommend the AT approach. It is quite a bit longer but the long ridge walk is one of the best alpine walks in the east. You rarely see anybody up there.

Thanks for the information guys! I don't think our group is up for the AT approach, but it sounds excellent.

There is a well-formed herdpath which starts right in front of the lodge and will take you to the spur trail to the AT, in a gully next to a small building.

Too bad, the AT approach is uch more wild and impressive with a couple of ponds along the way.
