Ok so this isn't really a trail report...because the trailhead has a sign posted on the Old Portland Rd. end that says it is closed and will be re-routed. I did not press the issue (would like to know what happened) and hiked elsewhere (Green Mtn.)
Edit: The Trailhead on Rice Hill Rd. (North side of the trail) is open and marked. If you plan to hike do not plan for the Portland Rd. end for now (thanks to Amicus for the update)
