Climbed two of the Catskill 100 highest today( SE Warren and Cowan Mtn) with a group of good friends and my pooch, Bookah. Dazzling sun, nice routes - the landowners granted us permission to hike and cross private property on both peaks.
It was a different route for Ralph and I up Cowan and new peaks for 2 of the people in the group. Thanks Maddy, Ralph, and Moonray. It was more than terrific to see Tony again after a long hiatus.
Completely open woods and the remaining snow covered most of the pricker that plague these two peaks 7 months a year.
3rd trip in a row with fabulous sunny skies.
