. I'm looking for something to do this weekend. Are the Pemi trails still in decent shape for skiing ?

Can't tell you specifically about the Pemi, but the snow is really starting to soften in the WMNF, and with rain forecast for Friday night the weekend is uncertain, especially on unpacked trails. On the other hand, packed or groomed trails should hold out for another week or two. Of course, the drainages will start to open up pretty soon. Ice is already moving in the rivers.

All the northern XC areas are open this weekend, if that helps you any... Last weekend at Waterville, there was 2+ feet on top of the ice on the rocks in the Mad River.

Agree.
It's the same deep snow that was here 3 weeks ago, except melting a bit and rained and frozen upon.
Freezing rain at 1800' now. 30 degrees. Should be an interesting mix !
