Well, that's still full blown winter. Things haven't softened up yet, check the avy report very carefully before venturing beyond HoJos.

Yeah, I've been following the reports elsewhere as well. If local conditions are... uh, inadvisable, then the choice will be Sherburne only, or doing something else.

I'm reminded of that movie:

"This place is still pretty hot, sir. Maybe we should surf someplace else!"

"What do you know about surfing, Major? You're from g*dd@mn New Jersey!"

The mountain will be approached with humility and discretion. And skis.
