- Route: AT up to the peak, Ranger's Trail down. Recommend this rather than the other way - AT affords nice views from the ridge at the cost of some pointless up and down. Ranger's Trail easy but boring.
- Weather conditions: barely above freezing at the top. Wind gentle when in the trees and moderate from the fire tower. Socked in on the peak, so no views.
- Trail conditions: Light (<1cm) snow on the north face. Slippery, wet rocks.
- Special equipment required: none. Traction aids brought but not used.
