I was asked if I wanted to head out with a couple of friends to climb South Gully in Huntington Ravine this Sunday, and I said "sure! what the hell!"
Sunday turned out to be a gorgeous day up there! absolutely bluebird!
we could see the tracks from where the snowcat had headed up to aid the two fallen climbers from the day before. I hope they recover quickly.
The climb was a new experience for sure! I'm not sure that level of exposure is something I would like to experience again, but I'm glad I did it! Here are some pics from the day. None while I was climbing I was a little too focused to shoot pics.
