This is a different kind of trip report for a different kind of trip.
We had summitted Storm and its many subpeaks several times over the past few days, arriving by a series of gondolas and lifts; and spending hour upon hour skiing aspen and pine glades, through steep meadows filled with giant soft powdery bumps, and down screaming fast headwalls.
Its so great to have a partner to share so many different adventures with.
We stopped for a break and enjoyed lunch on a sunny patio, high above the foothills of Steamboat.
MichaelJ went over to the edge to catch a closer view, and asked our friend, Doug, if he'd mind taking our picture.
It was then while we were posing that he asked me, and I said yes.
