The Boston Globe magazine had a story on Ken Holmes today which included charts that really drove home the temperature drop and wind chill he was facing.

Thanks for that story. On another forum alot of people are trying to find some common thread to all 4 of the tragedies in the Whites this winter. I feel terrible that this has happened. Such a waste and so unnessesary. So hard for the relatives. I think the common thread is so obvious it doesn't need repeating.

Could be from lack of sleep, but reading that artical brought me to tears. I thought about what if that where me how would my wife and kids feel. I'm sure I can not even come close to understanding how his common law wife must feel or their children.
