Taking a Bite Out of Spring?

Let me say upfront that this is a bit silly, and perhaps no one else (other than me) will find this mildly amusing.
Each spring season, the various cascades & waterfalls have their own unique way of opening up. Below are two photos taken on the first full day of Spring '09. They show how Nancy Cascades chose to open up and “take a bite out of Spring”.

(Maybe it’s just me, but it looks like the cascades have formed an evil-looking mouth, complete with teeth!)
