Started at the Waterville Trailhead mid morning. Trail was mud and slushy snow about a quarter of a mile in then we got into a couple of mixed bags of sleet and heavy snow. We only carried microspikes and wore them most of the way. There is still plenty of snow from the ski trail junction to the summit. Packed down nicely. Plenty of folks hiking today. Got some excellent views of the Tri's, Passa, and Whiteface. In and out of the clouds . Had fun and it was our pups first 4000 Footer.
