Temperature Could hit 90F in NH

Our forecast is only 74° for Sunday in the Hudson Valley of NY, but I have no doubt we will top out well over 80°. There has been no snow at my house in over 1 month to provide any refrigerator effect.

BTW, it is way easier just to use copy and paste from any webpage or digital source that has the special characters you want. But on your computer in your browser and with your fonts YMMV. But carry on with all the keyboarding.

Since my web site has a section on the Haute Route I use accents a lot while editing it. Using the US International keyboard seems a winner for me, as I can (and do) switch it off most of the time. To do all the neat things it can do requires a cheat sheet, but all I use are the accents, the Euro symbol, and the fractions ¼, ½ and ¾ a small subset that is easily memorized.

The degree sign (78°F) requires the simultaneous use of Shift, Alt and :, which is a bit inconvenient, so I tend not to use it in my posts.

Back on OP topic. It got up to 74°F (23°C) in Plymouth, NH today.

My car thermometer here in Twin Mountain had it in the 80s. It was the warmest day of lift-served skiing I've ever experienced, and such fun!

Washington set two record highs in a row...but it's the margin that's truly impressive.

Yesterday's record high of 56 replaced a record high of 42! That's crushing a record by 14 degrees!
