DT, cool, I think I have 23&24, Darlene has a site#6 and I know Gillian has one..

For some reason I could not get onto VFTT last night so here is old info. We now have 1 more apparently. :)

I think that those who have their favorite route, can try just to be at the summit by high noon... but for those of us who aren't camping at Waterest and need a place to meet and time, I've made that 9:30 at Ravine Lodge trailhead cause there are multiple routes one can take from there, both hitting South Peak at some time...

----
Thinking right now that we have about 4 sites at Waterest and thinking of a 9:30am start from Ravine Brook Lodge, but I highly suggest that those who are familiar with the area and hike times, to consider meeting us at the summit at noon, thinking we can split the group up a bit, even from the Lodge which is open to the public, some of us can hit south Peak on the way up and others can hit it on the way back, both doing sort of a modified lollipop of a hike. Thereby avoiding too much of a huge group...

don't have an exact headcount but I just know who is camping... and those that may come up for the day...

Anyone into hiking on Sunday or the week after? :) Gail and I will try to come by Sat night for the festivities! :D

Certainly hiking something on sunday, can be discussed saturday night... Looks to be a great weekend, weather wise.

BTW, what is a good post-hike festivity place, I think it might be good to see if we can have a little shindig somewhere at the campground, though we'll have to try to be respectful of the neighbors there, rather than try to get reservations for us all...

Because I have never been to Common Man, sounds like a cool place to check out.. Driven by there many times, just never eaten there...!

Bobby, great that you and marty can make it!

If anyone is interested in a small semi-bushwack route to the summit instead of the standard routes, let me know. :)

Congratulations!

Well done Jay!
What a great day! Met so many of you again and a few new faces too!
A perfect day for a classic finish to your quest!
Pics to come!

Yeah, it was great to meet all the folks on the summit, from every direction, PA, VT, MA, NH, etc.. A great weekend for sure and hopefully I'll have a chance to put up a report tomorrow. It's nice not to have a 6 hour drive home too... Thanks for all the awesome presents and even more for being a friend and sharing the love of the mountains.. Surely will see all of you out there on the trails and on the forums...

Stay tuned!

Jay

Congratulations, Jay. I would have been there if I could.
