The winds a rumbling up North

Anyone out on the summits today might be in world of hurt as it started out with calm winds but in the last hour or so the wind had really cranked up. Its gusting over 100 on the summits and down at ground level I can feel the house rocking on occasion. Anyone out hiking this weekend may find a fresh batch of blowdowns

The "Watch for Falling Snow and Ice" sign at my building flew by fast in front of my car as I was leaving yesterday morning. (Yes, I stopped and retrieved it and put it in a safe place.)
