We soon crossed a series of old bridges, one of them that looked mighty rickety. I wondered if a car could, in fact, make it this far, would it actually be able to pass over this bridge without tumbling through?

You mean this bridge? My old jeep made it over that bridge, but it was pretty funny. Teejay and Rob were standing on the other side of the bridge trying to line up my tires with the solid spots. Teejay was pointing one way and Rob was pointing the other. I finally rolled down the window and stuck my head out and yelled "hey, I only have one car. Make up your minds and please get it right." We all had a good laugh. As I was going over the bridge I heard a loud creak so I gunned it and Rob and Teejay thought I was going to run them down and they both dove into the woods.

That is probably my best memory from Redington.

Nice job. Way to be persistent.

That's the one. How long ago was that? I think the bridge is a little worse now.

I wouldn't doubt the bridge is worse now. That was at the Gathering 6.0 so that was just about 2 years ago. It was bad enough then, so I can imagine it is pretty bad now.

Drive over it? I didn't want to walk over it. On the return trip, we almost lost Stevehiker when his foot went through the decking.
