I am a relatively young person, 17 (18 in a matter 11 days), but I can remember hiking when I was young, and using external frame packs. Bad memories. I would say the new technology is the best. Does anyone have the North Face's Met5 jacket, or have you seen it. Thats absolutly amazing, a bit too expensive, but never the less amazing.
