trail running suggestions

Will be heading north on I-95 tomorrow. Hoping someone could suggest an easily accesible spot to get a 5+/- mile run in south of Bangor. Thanks!

Perhaps a bit off your path, but, two even graded trails with good footing and some nice vftt.

Plymouth Mountain: about a 15% grade, 4.3 miles round trip.


Mount Prospect: about a 12% grade, 3.4 miles round trip.

not sure if this area works as "south of Bangor" (it's between Bucksport and Ellsworth), but lots of nice, good footing dirt roads/trails, hills if you want,few people; almost all the snow is gone. especially on the roads--if interested, see map on site or i'll be glad to try to help on access/parking points, etc if you PM me
