Sabbaday Brook Trail up to the Trips. Easy walking with low stream crossings up to the climb along the side of Fool Killer when I donned the snowshoes. There were many blowdowns on the lower part of the trail, but all were easily skirted. Was able to kick off the shoes a couple of times until the Southward turn and the climb straight up. Fairly deep snow, but disappearing fast. Lot of snow up in the col between North and East Tripyramid, much less between Middle and South.
The South Slide was completely snow free and dry. Kate Sleeper Trail started out with only bits of snow, but became deep as you go over West and East Sleeper. The snow was solid and barebooting was fairly easy all the way up to Whiteface. Blowdowns not as numerous here.
Rollins Trail was solid with snow starting to peter out as it dropped toward Passaconaway. Descending to Square Ledge on the Passaconaway Cutoff, the snow was skirtable in places but melting fast.
Square Ledge Trail (fair # of blowdowns) had some snow at the very beginning and then nearly none until I began a bushwhack at the bottom of the ledge. The woods below 2500 feet were open and free of snow from square ledge past Hedgehog and back over to Sabbaday Brook.
Mud was present on some places along the route, but nothing exceptional.
