I just got back from spending two weeks in the United Kingdom. Besides the many touristy things I did in London, I also took several dayhikes in this beautiful land of various terrain. It was a wonderful time. Thanks to those of you here who offered advice on hiking in this part of the world. Here are some pictures from my trip.
Speech House Lake in the Forest of Dean
Puzzlewood, where JRR Tolkien imagined his hobbits
Tame rolling hills in Wales
Brecon Beacons National Park- where sheep are as prevalant as black flies are in the Whites
This stone wall pens in the sheep... somewhat
Hiking path along Dunraven Bay, southern Wales
Glastonbury Tor, where civilized trail maintainers have installed these steps
