Only one I can remember is about half way up from Pinkham Notch on the south end that had a sign. Given the dry conditions I expect unless there is heavy rain the day before that water sources are dry.

There are definitely some wet spots between C and D during a normal year. I know Gryffin has found water and mud in there before. This year, they may well be dry, so I would not rely on finding water myself.

There is a spring on the Wildcat Ridge Trail, one mile up at 3248' (on the way to to D & E peaks). And obviously at the Hut and Lakes and Nine Mile Brook. Nothing listed officially between A and E peaks that I can find.
