I'm planning to hike the Webster Cliff trail with a dog on Saturday. The forecast is for rain the night before. Does this trail pose any unusual hazards when wet? I'm a 2X veteran of the 4K footers but I've never been on this one.

i've only done a couple of sections of that trail: between crawford path and the mizpah hut and the section between Mt's Jackson and Webster. The section between Jackson and Webster shouldn't be bad. It's mostly flat with just a couple of big rocks to climb down or up depending the direction. The other section between crawford path and mizpah hut is steep and depending on how wet it is, it could be pretty slippery.

I asked the same question on this thread -- coincidentally for tomorrow morning also. If there's a forecast for morning sun I will probably go, otherwise plan B kicks into effect as I'm worried about hiking the cliffs when wet. (The rest of the trail north of Mt Webster shouldn't be a problem at all, I've hiked that before.)
