Hi all, Another member mentioned west Baldface in a post refering to the N and S Baldface area. Does anybody know what trailess area he's refering to? Buddy

West Peak of N. Baldface

This is a NH200H peak. Nice bw, pretty much open hardwoods with a nice ridge walk with views to an open summit. You do need some map and compass skills, there are several approaches. Definitely a worthwhile trip.

Is this the bump I see on the map just west of North Bladface? I hike to South Bladface a couple times per year, but I haven't been to North Baldface in many years. Is it obvious from North Baldface?

forestnome, that is the West peak of North Baldface. It's about 2950', an interesting place to visit, it is very obvious from the North Baldface summit. A nice ridge walk coming in from the west, lots of open views.

W Baldface

We were looking at W Baldface from Chandler last Sept,Neighbor wanted to head on over.It did look nice.......instead we wacked back down to E Branch and did Black ,wackin to the old logging rd took it to the end and did a short wack up to the open summit .The Baldfaces were visible there too. That's a nice area, tho the E Branch trail was quite wet and muddy.
