Last Saturday, December 19, I co-led an AMC hike up Rocky Branch to Isolation. Not even a mile in, we stopped to strip down, and one of the participants announced he couldn't find his camera. Frankly, I suspected he left it on the dashboard of his vehicle, but at least we were coming back the same way, so we could look for it on the return.
Didn't find it.
I posted that it was missing on the trip report on http://www.NewEnglandTrailConditions.com (for some reason I forgot to on my report here), and low and behold, someone found it and emailed me on Christmas Eve!
I won't mention the person's name, but that was very nice of him to contact me about it. There is a nice comradely spirit in our hiking community.
All the best,
Brian
