Muskrat, muskrat candlelight
Doin' the town and doin' it right
In the evenin'
It's pretty pleasin'

Muskrat Susie, Muskrat Sam
Do the jitterbug out in muskrat land
And they shimmy
And Sammy's so skinny

And they whirled and they twirled and they tangoed
Singin' and jingin' the jango
Floatin' like the heavens above
It looks like muskrat love

Nibbling on bacon, chewin' on cheese
Sammy says to Susie "Honey, would you please be my missus?"
And she say yes
With her kisses

And now he's ticklin' her fancy
Rubbin' her toes
Muzzle to muzzle, now anything goes
As they wriggle, and Sue starts to giggle

And they whirled and they twirled and they tangoed
Singin' and jingin' the jango
Floatin' like the heavens above
It looks like muskrat love

La da da da da ...

I believe Imarchant might be right about it being a woodchuck. As mentioned before muskrat do not have fur on their tails. Afterlooking at the feet again, the feet do not look like cat feet, toes are to long for a feline.

Thank you for the recipes, cannot wait to try them! dinner anyone?

Woodchuck seems likely given the skull shape and overall impression.

carrion contemplation

I would guess a woodchuck based on the shape of the head and other characteristics described. The tail is deceptive but only because some of the fur is missing, which is also missing on at least one of the legs. I've seen squirrels in my back yard with varied tails that would make you wonder whether they were the same species.

Now, if you roll the carcass over and tickle it's tummy, and it start wiggling and giggling, then you'll know it was a .......... possum.

No question about it, that's a liger. It's pretty much my favorite animal. It's like a lion and a tiger mixed... bred for its skills in magic.

My humble opinion, its definitly a coon. The tail and feet are the clues....stu
