Does anybody know the conditions on the Toll road? Is it fit to ski as of today?
I am planning on skiing it tomorrow (Sunday) if it's doable.
Anybody want to come along?
Thanks
Phil

Latest conditions

From ASTC today:
Not enough snow for the Marcy Dam Truck Trail as of Friday, but this new snow will make it skiable - just barely. Whiteface Toll Road has good cover and virtually no bare spots all the way to the top. Newcomb Lake Road has 3-4" of dense base with powder on top and generally good skiing all the way to Camp Santanoni. Adjacent road to Moose Pond is now also skiable. Burn Road at Little Tupper Lake had 2-3" of light powder, but the new snow should cover the exposed rocks. Fish Pond Truck Trail has 3" of frozen granular base and is skiable, although no report on the beaver pond 2+ miles in from the register. Hays Brook Truck Trail north of Paul Smiths skiable to both Sheep Meadow and Grass Pond. VIC has 3" of snow and 5km of their bark covered trails open. Lake Colden and Avalanche Lake are now just barely safe for travel. Stay away from inlets and outlets.
