Depends on when she did them, for most of her life including when she finished the 4k the first time, the 4k club did not explicitly require you to walk down any more than they required you to climb Galehead. Both were changed ~late '70s. Note the difference in language in the 1972 and 1983 WMG for example.

Hence you could legitimately celebrate a completion on your last summit as it didn't matter if you broke a leg and were carried out, died from a heart attack, or took the cog railway down - you were done when you reached the last summit. Thus the Fitch brothers completed their speed walk when they tagged their last summit not when they returned to the road.

But I don't know anybody including my mother who counted the winter 4k without walking down all of them, if you can walk out from Bond or Owls Head why worry about Cannon or Wildcat?
